Mountain biking, part 1: Horsetooth Mountain

Nope nope nope, not *me* on a mountain bike. That would be a very different kind of post, ending with photos of northern Colorado’s finest hospital.

Dan’s good friend Nathan flew out from Nashville last week. He and Dan spent 3 solid days mountain biking in Colorado and southern Wyoming. I begged Nathan to snag a single picture of Dan on a mountain bike. Not a bicycle leaning on a tree, not a sweeping mountain vista with no people in it — my husband, cycling. Nathan seriously overdelivered and I have so many wonderful pictures I’ll be breaking them into three separate posts.

First up, a handful from their afternoon climbing Horsetooth.

Up next: photos from Curt Gowdy State Park and Red Mountain Open Space.
