A dusting! A dusting!! A paltry amount of snow has rolled into northern Colorado! Here is photo evidence from La Vita Bella Coffee in Longmont, where I had a coffee date with my delightful friend Anna. The drive was pretty and stark — the usually rust-colored mountains of the Front Range were (just barely) white with snow.
I’ll take it.
After coffee, Anna suggested a trip to Cheese Importers, tucked in an unremarkable warehouse building off the main drag in Longmont. I never would have noticed it.
Inside is a floor-to-ceiling smorgasbord of lavender, chocolate, and French kitsch.
And cheese, naturally. The nuances of cheese — like beer — tend to be lost on me, but Cheese Importers makes me want to learn.
