We went back!

And why not? Our rental is less than a mile from the Monument entrance, and we have a National Parks pass burning a hole in our pocket (thank you, Jan and Phil!).

If you missed the first round of Colorado National Monument pictures, you can see those here.

P.S. We drove the 23-mile route backwards this time, for a different perspective than on our first visit. That also gave us a chance to spend a minute in dinosaur-obsessed Fruita.

P.P.S. One final photo from “home” — Dan and I are declaring this the most adventurous garage photo ever taken. If you can top it, I want to see it.

Back home tomorrow!
