Despite my burgeoning interest in mountain biking, it is still Dan’s domain. This week Dan took a personal day and drove an hour north to Red Mountain Open Space to get his bike dirty.

Don’t recognize the bicycle? It’s Dan’s newest, which he built up from a Crust frame. It sports fat tires and is the eleventh bike in our garage.
