Slow news week on the Reid front! The weather has been gorgeous and we have been taking advantage of it.

Dan had been toying with the idea of buying a Brompton bicycle for a while, mostly because the bike folds up small enough to fit in our car. Today, his “clown bike” arrived.

I received a delivery as well: a helmet all my own. I have been wearing Dan’s:

…but had been hunting for one that fit me better, both in size and style. I decided on the Thousand in Stay Gold.

When not on a clown bike, Dan has been mountain biking frequently. Here are a few of his shots from around the Horsetooth Reservoir area.

When I ride there are fewer thrills, but just as many vistas. There are benefits to having a river in your back yard.
