I’d heard a great deal about the Mishawaka, an amphitheater and restaurant perched on the Poudre River. The Mishawaka is a popular concert venue with so little parking available that everyone shuttles in.
Dan and I decided to visit for lunch, when things are a little more our speed. It’s a burgers-and-fries joint, much improved by the view, though the water level was low. I didn’t see any bighorn sheep, though I hear they are often spotted at the Mishawaka.
The first two images are of the Mishawaka; the others are from our drive home on a winding road through the Poudre Canyon, full of turn-offs with people picnicking and fly fishing.
